Learning Path

In the morning, when I rose
Saw Sun writing, happy prose
Spreading light, lacking guile
Seeing that I learnt to smile

While I stretch, my body creeks
Making sounds like breaking bricks
Still my legs take mighty stride
Fall or stroll, it is with pride

Body parts, get in synch
Written in the same bright ink
Life story, thus, moves along
Whether one is weak, or strong

Food on plate, lies benign
Still it carries worthy sign
Chewed or gobbled, kills the pang
Setting you up to go for bang

One does need to earn a living
On ordeal of taking and giving
Hence you dive in known unknown
Learnt to rise, while lying prone

In midst of struggle, I see a kite
Flying high, a lovely sight
It’s the string, that is not seen
Kite thinks, string is acting mean!

Weeping String then lets it loose
Kite makes move to chase the goose
Loving wind, now turns to beast
Torn to pieces, in frenzy of feast

We know string as family and friends
They hold us to meet the ends
Once they stop, holding thy hand
Makes it that much tough to stand

That, my friends, is what I learnt
Basking in glory, or fingers burnt
Am still learning, give me rope
Will make a nice, knot of hope
